After spending years looking at widgets, we have realized that widgets are just a tip of the iceberg. A much broader category like Enterprise Micro Applications not only covers desktop widgets/gadgets or imbedded widgets, but all the mobile applications. In order not to have users install another piece of software on the desktop like SAP Widget Foundation, we have extended SAP NetWeaver to cover all the features of SAP Widget Foundation.
