SAP netweaver trial 7.4 but CLOUD based and NOT FREE

Hi everyone

while looking for ABAP trial 7.02 download I found this link in the store (open the text file).

seems to be some sort of Cloud based version -- 7.04 that needs some sort of cloud provider AND IT'S NOT FREE

Will there be local downloadable versions of this software that you can run on a local PC..

This version is not good at all if you want to develop at home on an individual laptop  - especially if you don't want to be on the internet at the time and it's expensive for casual developers..

I really don't like the way it's going with everything cloud based (but that's a topic for another discussion !!(.

There were some promises to provide the offline installation in Q1 of 2014 - seems that they did not make it, unfortunately.

It is free, you just need to run it in the Cloud. You also need hardware resources to run the on-premise trial versions available. Use this link to locate the 7.02 and 7.03 on-premise trials. SAP is focusing on Cloud, that is why the most recent versions are available only in the Cloud.
