I’ll kick off the discussion and second post on the beginner corner! I’d first like to welcome everyone and let you know that the beginner corner is a great place to get connected with peers and SAP experts on all matters regarding your SAP learning journey.

We recommend you start learning with the Introducing End-to-End Business Processes for the Intelligent Enterprise learning journey to gain a baseline understanding of what we do and how. This will provide the context behind everything else that you will learn in the future.

Hi @Hennie, when clicking on a Learning journey, you will see different units that prepare you for your certification exam. The amount of units depends on the topic you are interested in, but I would recommend checking our all available content in the units, after doing that you are for sure prepared for the certification!

Hi @Ali_Siddiqui, I recommend checking out this website: https://www.sap.com/canada/products/supply-chain-management/products.html. You can find an overview about SAP solutions for Supply Chain Management there.

You can then find learning resources for these solutions at https://learning.sap.com/learning-journey, but since not all available learning content is yet linked here at SAP Learning, so you maybe also want to have a look at other websites, e.g. https://open.sap.com/courses.

Hello David, I really am very excited to learn how to use SAP software and being in the final stage of my university career, as a mechanical engineer I would like to learn the SAP Plant Maintenance module, however, I have not been able to find it inside from the official SAP page the location of where I can find courses and/or the installation process of the same, I hope you can help me due to the great experience you have in the software, thanks in advance and greetings!

Hi @Hennie - If you find a learning journey that ends in a certification (they are marked accordingly) you need to complete all units of the journey. Good luck!

Just wondering - aside from each event or webinar provided from SAP itself, are there any activities in SAP learner side - like study session - like 'SAP online study session' or any communities of studying together?

@sap_makinur - Your best bet will be to understand exactly what solutions your employer is running and pursue certifications around that solution. Each solution should have something a security specialist should understand.

 @Shivam  - Thanks for the suggestion! The challenge is that the spectrum of SAP related questions that can arise is wide. The chances that someone with a specific question and the appropriate expert is online at the same time is slim.

Hi, does completing this learning journey give us a certification attempt only eligible for a Cloud S/4HANA consultant certification or does it provide a broad certification attempt which could be used for other SAP certification products such as SAP project management or Supply chain. Thanks.

Hi @Omer , thanks for the question, technically you can complete any learning journey and receive an attempt that can be applied to any exam you want. This is assuming you are signed up for the digital skills initiative though.

Please bear with us as we issue certifications. It may take a couple weeks to get it!

Thanks for reaching out! Most of the learning journeys for your area of expertise are paid offerings.

If you want a free learning track, I can recommend Explore Integrated Business Processes in SAP S/4HANA.

It will span all lines of business of SAP S/4HANA, but will also give you a general sense of the financial operations as well.
