It's been a few days already since we had our First SAP Inside Track in Bengaluru (2022) after the pandemic. Although we announced it only two weeks before the event, the interest & the response from the community was quite loud, which can be seen clearly from the below pic full of smiles.

This alone may not be enough to understand how the event went or how we can improve our future events. So we did a small post-event survey and got highly positive feedback from the attendees and, most importantly, the improvements they would like to see in the upcoming events. Let's dig down the feedback then 🙂
SAP Inside Track Bengaluru Experience
Almost 80% of the people gave the highest rating and but only 1 person gave a - 1 rating. I believe that probably was mistakenly entered 😉. So it is safe to say that most of the crowd enjoyed the event.
1- Least & 5 - Highest

Interest for the Future Event
We also wanted to check if they wanted to attend the future SAP Inside Track event, specifically to check if anyone is interested in presenting a session or volunteering at the event. Around 13% were interested in presenting a session, and another 13% wanted to help with the event.

Multiple Tracks Approach
This time we made a 2 track approach, one concentrated on the technical side and the other targeting the functional folks. We took a survey to check if the attendees liked it, and we got an overwhelmingly positive response. We also took another survey to check if they wanted more than 2 tracks by covering a wide variety of technical and functional topics, which is also received positive feedback. So probably, we will make 3 or more tracks in the future event, hopefully 😀.

Topic suggestions for the Future event
It's always better to know what topics the community members are interested in, so we can plan for the next event, or this might help other event organizers prepare a better agenda. The top three winners of this survey are SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite & ABAP on Cloud (Steampunk).

General Improvements & Suggestions
Apart from topic recommendations, we also wanted to check if they want to see improvements or provide any suggestions for future events. These are much needed for us as this is our first time organizing an offline event, and we need to know where to improve for the next event. Here are few of the interesting suggestions:
- Conduct small interactive & fun sessions (30 minutes or so) along with the technical sessions
- More functional topics along with the technical topics
- Hands-on Sessions
- Industry leaders to discuss visionary topics
- Guidance in new technical topics
- Bigger Audience
- More sessions (Full day)
- Sessions on the Latest Tech topics & tools
- Carrier Guidance
- More community interactions
Share your experience here in case if you have missed submitting the survey :), and do join the Bengaluru Community group if you are from Bengaluru or Karnataka
Cheers!
