Your tasks:
At Beyond, the role of the Business Transformation Consultant acts as part of the project governance team in close collaboration with the Project Manager and the Chief Architect who establishes the solution design. The Business Transformation Consultant acts mainly on the solution design phase of the project in order to accompany the client and the project team in the choices and arbitration that will be made to confirm the future business processes.
Value management:
- Accompany the client in the definition of the key success factors as well as the value drivers. Accompany the client in the definition of its key performance indicators (KPI)
- Participate in all design workshops to assist the team in discussions with the client to maintain the scope
- Ensure that the value propositions expressed during the solution validation workshops or during the gap discussion are clear and well identified
- Ensure translation and understanding between different business groups and areas
- Maintain a detailed record of all solution gaps between the Beyond Accelerator and customer requirements
- Ensure documentation and analysis of each requested gap, for all business areas and business needs
- Develop and implement dashboard metrics and communicate detailed status to project bodies
- Facilitate discussions and meetings with the client to review the gap log, prioritize them, question the need, the value added or the detriments and lead the client to make the best value-added choices for their business transformation
- Make recommendations based on industry best practices, SAP and business benefits
Alignment with the methodology and delivery model:
- Close collaboration with the project management team regarding changes to the business scope
- Initiate and participate in meetings with the project team to ensure the preparation of workshops and the adoption of the Activate methodology and delivery model
- Act as a coach and/or mentor to structure and align the project deliverables with the new business process definition initiatives
- Ensure that the project scope is closed and finalized at the end of the Exploration phase (design phase)
- Collaborate with the governance team on project planning at the end of the Exploration phase
- Actively participate in project management meetings, team meetings and steering committee meetings during the Discovery, Preparation and Exploration phases
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and the Solution Architect in the definition of development sprints in order to build a link by business process
You have:
- 1st or 2nd cycle university degree in a relevant field (Technology, Business, etc.)
- More than 10 years of relevant experience in organizational transformation projects and process reengineering
- Experience on technology projects (SAP, an important asset)
- Experience in consulting, an asset
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French (*This is a requirement since in this role you will be dealing with customers, partners and/or our international subsidiaries requiring communication in English on a recurring basis both verbally and in writing)
- Excellent skills with numbers and KPI and ROI analysis
