Contact as mandatory in account

Hello Experts!

Is it possible to mark the creation of a contact as mandatory? Maybe with some validation in the contact tab within the customer registration?

Is there any fine tuning configuration or screen adaptation to force a customer to have a registered contact?

The only way I found to fulfill this obligation was to mark the “Main contact” field as mandatory in the customer registration header. However, this solution does not solve when you want to “More > Add” an existing contact in the new client, in this case it is showing a printout error message.

Hello Clovis,

What you have configured is correct but that wouldn't enforce the creation of a contact but only enforce assignment of a contact to the account. I don't believe there is any scoping or fine tuning to enforce the mandatory creation of a contact.

If you want to add logic to enforce creation of a contact, during the account creation process, I'm afraid the only possibility is via sdk.
