Hello,
We would like to implement in production a sales variant pricing model set up and tested in our ECC6.
Today, we send order acknowledgement to customers via IDoc.
This IDoc contains a single data record E1EDP05+ with PR00 as we use no configurator today.
Tommorow, IDoc will contain multiple data records E1EDP05+ (each per variant plus one with summary value but no PR00 entry).
What are the consequences on customer side?
Do we need to share our configuration model with the customers concerned?
Do they need to also make configurable their purchased materials (our end products)?
How will our (new) IDoc be integrated in their destination system?
Do we need to recreate PR00 in sales order conditions out of variant pricing VA00 information?
Any other preparation to carry out for continuing IDoc communication with our customers?
@ Ryan Crosby : Thanks for your attention. When you refer to EDI, do you mean a middleware between the systems where a conversion (from configured price variant into single price) should take place? Or rather a custom code at the departure from (our) origin system which sends out a modified IDoc so the customer sees it as a non-configurable price.
