Max discount of coupon

We are trying to setup a promotion where the discount applies a fixed price on a subset product only once. 

Our promotion is a minimum spend of a certain category (setup in a container in the condition) and then we want the customer to receive a 15 EUR discount when the value of the category is more than 50 EUR

We have it setup OK but the discount stacks each time a customer adds a new item from the category

Kindy we can add the discount 15 EUR at PARENT ITEM and not the sub set item  level .

Create a sales BOM with parent and sub item, and the discount will be applied at Parent item . You need to configure a condition type for parent item which will add 15 EUR value once the sub item of relevant category is reached 50 EUR. This can be done using Routine for the Parent item condition type.
