Client Groupware Integration Component clarification

Hello All,

We would like to integrate CRM with our Lotus Notes (for contacts\calendar). I am finding the documentation to be rather confusing. Can this be done with the Client Groupware Integration Component only, or do we need to install a SAP CRM Groupware Connector?
