Pay SAP Commerce Cloud basket in POS via SAP CCO

Hi

SAP Commerce Cloud supports omichannel order and sales processes for mobile and B2B/B2C portals. But integration with physical point of sales stores/kiosks are often forgotten. In case the POS agent is closing a shopping cart for a customer and a payment needs to be captured, would SAP CCO be able to handle this payment process based on a shopping cart created in SAP Commerce Cloud? In our POS process we would only require the payment and some non-sales (cash + pay in/out; closing) related features from SAP CCO. Is this possible or is an standard integration with Commerce Cloud planned for sales and finance processes like for BusinessOne and Retail?

Hi elipairoux_,

I dont know exactly which APIs SAP Commerce Cloud is offering. But we have done many projects in which a 3rd party system creates a "basket" and CCO can retrieve or receive this order data to make the payment and fiscalization.

Maybe check with the colleagues in Walldorf. Can CCO as on-prem component be connected to handle a payment for a basket transferred by Commerce Cloud as cloud component?
