Dear all,
Is there any functionality to make contact data anonymous in a C4C system?
I already thought about removing contact data (via Data Protection and Privacy work center) and set a high retention period.
But in the business configuration you can only define retention periods for individual customers and employees.
Or is there any other possibility to make contact data anonymous?

We have decided to not "Over Complicate" the whole business partner removal process in CLoud for Customer .
the way you can achieve contact removal ( with 1902) is as follows :-
1) Using a lean PDI solution decide when a contact becomes useless from a data retention perspective. you can decide that if there is no activity with a contact ( email / phone / appointment / leads ) etc . then this contact is not relevant for you . This criterion is subjective to each customer and hence can be decided and implemented using PDI . One of the proposals would be to have a MDRO ( background job) to regularly scan through your contact list and based on the custom defined criterions mark the useless contacts as Obsolete .
2) once a contact is marked as obsolete , you can now ( with 1902) automate the process to trigger removal from C4C . Please refer to the rollout sessions for 1902 for more details on this new enhancement .
