We are happy to announce the update of the implementation roadmap for SAP Datasphere in
SAP Roadmap Viewer and SAP Cloud ALM.
This new version comes with the following major updates:
- One major topic we updated this time in the roadmap is Organizational Change Management - see this blog for details.
- The project plan templates now contain initial duration estimates for the single tasks (download the downloadable archive in the SAP Roadmap Viewer)
- We are introducing the Release Navigator for SAP Business Technology Platform -> SAP Datasphere page as a one-stop-shop for all you need to know about the release schedule of SAP Datasphere and SAP Datasphere, SAP BW bridge, what’s new information, and the latest blogs and tutorials. The Release Navigator for SAP BTP is accessible via the Enterprise Support Value Map for SAP BTP.
- In the Strategic Planning activity, we explain the different service offerings we recommend for the SAP Datasphere transition project, depending on the size and complexity of the project, where
- a „Small“ project is defined as 1 source system, 1 data model and 1 story.
- a „Medium“ project is defined as 1-2 source systems. 1-2 data models, and 1-2 stories.
- a "Complex" hybrid data warehousing scenario may include machine learning/AI in combination with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, HANA-SQL DW and third party frontend
- Updated service names
- Updated SAP Notes
- Included new blogs and materials
