A new SAP training class - "Extensibility for SAP S/4HANA"  - is launched (code S4D425).

Classic extensibility approaches are covered in the course BC425. The new three day virtual live class S4D425 covers -

In-app extensibility: adaptations created by key users that have a deep business knowledge but no technical expertise.

Side-by-side extensibility on SAP Cloud Platform: applications built by developers, enhancing and supplementing SAP S/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

The course goals include preparing you to explain the extensibility concept for SAP S/4HANA, extend the SAP Fiori launchpad, personalize SAP Fiori applications with end user tools, apply extensions using ABAP development tools - and more.

Go to this page for the full details of S4D425, including course prerequisites and table of contents, and see when classes are scheduled in your region!

Class S4D425 features in these SAP Learning Journeys:

Dear Colin,

It's not clear stated about which version of SAP S4Hana Cloud (public or private) are you referring to when you are taking about extensibility.

In the previous statements from SAP there were communication that you can't do much with regards to the extensibility when you are on S4H Public Cloud. Have it changed it now?

I would very appreciate for the timely response.

Hello Maxim

A lesson in Unit 1 of the course explains the possibilities of extensibility depending on the SAP S/4HANA version.

In the current version of the course, there is a unit that deals with extensions via classic developer tools (for example SE80). The remainder of the course is relevant for the public cloud.  The mentioned unit will not be present in the forthcoming version of this course, expected towards the end of this quarter.

Regards

Colin
