An area where we in support get frequent questions is the area of the Server Landscape Directory (SLD). To address this, the experts supporting this specific area of SAP Business One has created a new Guided Answer (GA).

In this blog post we want to promote the usage of the GA recently released. Don't want to read until the end, here is the link - GA Server Landscape Directory.

We continuously release new GA decision trees to cover more areas and to make it easier for you resolve issues on your own. There are now 19 released GAs’ specifically for SAP Business One and SAP Business One for HANA. You will find all of them here.

Guided Answer for SLD

The GA for SLD should help you go through the most common things such as Installation and SLD Connectivity.

In the area of connectivity, the GA will take you 4 steps deep. We are confident that this GA is the best starting point should you run into issues.

Still need to contact Support?

The GA is a good starting point and it is our hope that you will be able to resolve the issue on your own. However, should you need to contact support – please let support know which steps you took, check out this blog on how to do that.

We are listening

We are actively looking for partner feedback regarding the content and its usability. The feedback can be given directly in the application regarding the content of a specific tree (or Guided Answers in general)

For detailed instructions and links to the application plus a walkthrough video please check out the SAP KBA 3105476 – How to use Guided Answers for SAP Business One

Jesper,

No disrespect intended but this guide is so basic I dont see how it actually helps any more than what is already available unless you are a complete novice with SAP Business One .

If thats the intended audience then OK but for experienced B1 consultants these are not really of much help.

In my opinion....

Again if the audience is complete novices then great.

Cheers

Hello Richard,

This is no disrespect! Honest feedback is the only feedback that matters.

We will take your point on board and correct the note link.
