Adding Item batch number when creating Purchase order

Is it possible to create batch numbers / quantity when creating Purchase order? Can someone tell me the procedure?

Hi,

You can reserve or park the batches only in case of consumption. Further, only production order has a UDF to mention the batch number.

What is the requirement that you want to initiate batch creation at PO level.

Dear rukidealwis83,

Only Sales Order and A/R Reserve Invoice could assign batches. B1 does not have option for batch assignment in Purchase Order.
