In the accounts receivable process, first we send to the bank a file with the customer invoices (RV) via F110.
When the customer pays, the bank sends us a confirmation through FF.5 and "DZ" documents are created which clear the "RV" documents.
Finally, the bank sends us an eletronic statement also through FF.5 which creates a "EE" document that debits the main house bank account and credits the bank sub-account.
Our requirement is to clear the DZ documents (debit) with the EE document (credit). Today this is done using F-03.
Is it possible to use F.13 for automatic clearing? If so, what criteria should be used in OB74? Because the only thing in common is the posting date (BUDAT).
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Example:
F110
Customer invoice #1 - RV - 100 USD
Customer invoice #2 - RV - 200 USD
FF.5 (customer payment) = (debits bank sub-account / credits customer)
DZ #1 - 100 USD (clears RV #1)
DZ #2 - 200 USD (Clears RV #2)
FF.5 (bank statement) = (debits house bank / credits bank sub-account)
EE #1 - 300 USD
Thank you,
Nilo
Hi, I would expect that by running F110 the original invoices would have been cleared. After that you use an intermediary account to monitor the actual money flowing in. This is a standard Direct Debit process. If the money can't be collected you reverse the F110 generated posting to open the original invoice again. For Bill of Exchange there is a variant on this process.
However, they way you describe it the process differs (by keeping the original invoice open). Is this a Bill of Exchange scenario? And for which country?
Kind regards,
Bas
