Book value field in Fixed Asset Master record

I want to enter negative book values (fixed assets net value to below zero) in Fixed Asset Master Record. What is the field name to enter book value in Asset Master Record in AS01 transaction?

Hi,

The book value is not entered in the asset master record. The book value is the result of the different transactions posted for that asset: acquisitions, revaluation, depreciation etc. These transactions are posted via different transactions in SAP for the asset created via transaction AS01.

It's possible to have negative book values for assets in SAP. You have to make sure that the negative values are allowed. This can be setup at depreciation area level via customising transaction 'Define Depreciation Areas' or at asset master level by flagging indicator 'Negative Values Allowed' at depreciation area level.
