I am facing an issue with Equipment External number Range.
We wanted to retain the Business's existing Equipment number from their legacy system, so we suggested to have an external number range with a country specific prefix.
Example from Legacy system: CV001
Proposed Solution
Country 1 : S-CV001
Country 2 : P-CV001
Country 3 : A-CV001
The external number range which we have maintained is A0000 to Z9999
It worked for Country 1 and 2, but when we are implementing for country 3, we are getting an error : The Equipment number A-CV001 is not in external number range interval.
Can you please let me know why the system is not allowing for the 3rd case? How to rectify the issue or please suggest a work around?
