Excise Input credit transfer from depot to manufacturing plant

Hello All,

I came across a very strange excise scenario, where one of my client want to transfer Excise input credit from his depot to manufacturing plant.

The strange issue is that he want to update his manufacturing plant excise registers and also the GL accounts.

As we all know that we can use J_1IACCBAL to update Part II registers, since it is not legacy transafer we cannot use Initial balance GL account.

Please give me any suggestions to make excise input credit accounting entry.

Hi,

If you only transfer the balance then you can do by FB01, just transfer the balance one plant to another plant. However, if you want to update in RG23 registers also, then first you have to clear the balance in depot, after that upload the balances to manufacturing plant in MM along with materials, then it will update in the registers also.
