Hi Experts,
The blog post below describes that custom fields become available for flexible upload, journals and journal entry via screen.
1 Do new custom fields that we add via Field extensibility become available for mapping and form entry in GRDC?
2 I’d like to confirm that custom fields are also available for journal entry import?
This would mean that the new custom fields function like any other dimension. Import from S/4 GR operations and mapping.
Referring to SAP Group Reporting on premise 2023

3 Once added, these extensibility fields would need to be added to the CDS too for Group Data Analysis use?
Regards,
Eyal
Hi Eyal,
1)
When you creates the field and enable API_GRTRANSACTIONDATA_SRV it will be available in GRDC.
For Run Data Mapping you have an 'Update Custom Fields':
SAP Help has the mapping syntax for the field:
2)
It will. I have enabled for group journals:
After creation of the custom field the template from Import Group Journal Entries app will hold your new field.
3)
When you publish the field you select the analytics to be enabled:
I have seen that YTD calculation breaks and show no values. It is just to re-publish the custom field and it should work again.
No additional changes to the analytics views should be necessary.
