Hi Experts,

I'm into flooring business and all my item quantities are in in square meters and sometimes one item has different sizes. We usually maintain the sizes in the "Foreign name" section and if there're more than one size then I'm not sure where I'm going to show it ? maybe in the Batch number transaction report ?

Whole purpose of maintaining the sizes is to get an idea how many packs/boxes we got , which is easy when it comes to stock counting rather than you count with square meters. So once the sizes are correctly maintained then it can be easily get into an excel to work out the no of boxes.

please help if someone knows a way of doing it.

Why you do not maintain this data into Sales / Purchase TAB under Item master?

Hi Ruki,

it could be a way to use batches for different size's like:

B: 20x40 = 2 pieces

B: 30x30 = 4 pieces

But you can only see pieces in warehousedata, you have to check batches for amounts.

Yes , considering nature of the business , I think best way to have this size information is in the batch details. Thanks for helping me.
