Plant Specific material status bloking sales order change in va02

Hello All,

Plant Specific material status xx whicn i have created to block procurement, MRP, production.

I thought sales order activity is not in scope of plant status.

but i observe,when material having plant status xx in Plant Specific material status field in material master, then i can create sales order, but when i use va02 to change sales order it is blocking due to xx plant status. For ex. if i change delivery date in sales order.

Assigning blocked status in purchasing view will not impact SO creation process. There is separate blocking function available in Sales view for blocking SO process. See this existing thread https://answers.sap.com/questions/4040723/prevent-sales-order-for-blocked-material.html

What is the Valid from Date (of Plant Sp. Material Status) in Material Master?

Further please check the Material Master for "X-distr.chain status" and "DChain-spec. status" feilds under Sales Org 1 screen of Material Master.

Its possible a relevant status under Sales Orgn 1 is generating this error message.

Valid from Date (of Plant Sp. Material Status) is blank.

"X-distr.chain status" and "DChain-spec. status" both are not specified i.e they are also blank.
