Hi Everybody,
I read somewhere & heard people say - "Profit Center Accounting is not part of Controlling Module"
But i am not getting details to read & understand clearly above statement.
I request experts to provide details to understand. Thank You.
Hi,
It is a semantic question. Technically speaking, Profit centre accounting (PCA) could be found under EC component (Enterprise Controlling), so that the full formal name of this component is EC-PCA. While, main controlling modules (i.e. Cost centres controlling) could be found under CO component (Controlling).
That's why there is sometimes confusion in this domain. Eventually, it doesn't change anything, as EC-PCA is a part of central components. Pay attention, that under S/4 this component no longer exists. Actually, it became semi-obsolete with introduction of NewG/L in Finance.
Regards,
Eli
