Quality Inspection for Goods Issue

Hi Experts..

Good Morning....

I Have a small doubt regarding PP and QM integration.

Finished Good Material : AFC123

Components :ABC123

I created a inspection type "2" for component(ABC123) in Material master and mean while I created production order. After that i did goods issue against production order. The material is directly consume from Unrestricted stock and system generated the Lot for component (ABC123) . Hear my Question is What is the use of crating Inspection for goods issue the material directly consumed from unrestricted without any information to Quality department.

Please realize the logic. if you are issuing goods or transferring how you can expect this to get a lot with stock posting. The stock is already in transit to some other locations so at the source location you can never get lot with stock posting active

If you want to inspection relate to stock active inspection type 08.
