Can SAP Best Practices be installed on ECC ERP 6.0 IDES ?

Hello,

Can SAP Best Practices for Food and Beverage V1-V4.607 be applied on top of ECC ERP 6.0 IDES installation?

Hello Rakesh,

usually, SAP Best Practices have precise requirements for the SAP Netweaver. For example, I quickly had a look at

SAP Best Practices for Food and Beverage (UK V1.604) and in order to activate the solution your system should be on SAP Enhancement Package 4 SP12. There might be other requirements as well - very often you need to have certain business functions enabled.

SAP IDES is a pre-delivered system and I think it might be difficult to fullfill the requirements, especially that there is a lot of business functions already activated and you can't really apply support packages.

I would suggest installing a clean ERP system and then deploying SAP Best Practices. If your system components are different comparing to the Quick Guide you will get many errors.
