Consumption Period for PIR

Hi All,

We are working SAP S/4 HANA. We are using Planning Strategy 40 with Consumption mode -2, Backward Consumption-30 and Forward Consumption-40.

Have uploaded PIR's on 1st March 2018 for 18000. I do have SO's in March and in Jan & Feb 2018. We upload PIR's monthly.

When i check t-code MD73 i see that alongwith March month SO's, Jan & Feb month's SO's are allocated to this March month PIR's. Kindly note there are no PIR's in Jan/Feb month.

As per the material master settings i.e. Backward Consumption-30 days, the SO's which fall within 30 days should be allocated to this month's PIR's.

Correct me if my understanding is wrong.

If my understanding is correct, then how to rectify it.

If my understanding is wrong, then do let me know how this process works.

Hello

Please observe that system calculates this horizon in working days, therefore, 30 working day may be more than 30 calendar days.
