Fiori App F2229 Enhancement - (Including value help)

Hi,

Currently we have a requirement to include a custom field in the account assignment object page of Manage purchase Requisition App. I have successfully added the field by extending standard CDS views(C_PurchaseReqnAcctAssgmt.. etc) and enhancing backend BOPF mapping methods, but when I try to link the custom field to a value help, it doesn't reflect in the frontend application or in the Odata services. I tried to follow the below SAP help documentation (https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_NETWEAVER_750/cc0c305d2fab47bd808adcad3ca7ee9d/1b9a9e9d759e4302890c44cf5e10b5b1.html).

Please could you advise on how to go about this problem. We are currently on S/4 Hana version 1909.
