How to avoid serial number entry during stock entry

Hello

Our business would like to serialize a few products in SAP. The requirement is to enter the serial numbers in outbound delivery documents directly. They dont want to assign serial numbers to the product in stock.

However when I set-up serial number profile, even while adding stock for the product the serial number becomes mandatory. We don't really have the serial number details at the time of adding stock in SAP (its not a make to stock situation). We are on S4HANA Public Cloud system.

How can I achieve this in SAP? Any help would be appreciated.

 Have you looked at Serialization procedures? Please check the scope item BLL - Serial number Management.
