The app Cost Centers - Plan/Actual has the functionality to navigate and analyze data using hierarchies. Although, you have to first create the hierarchies for the entities on which you want to report.
For hierarchies for cost centers, profit centers, cost elements, functional areas, or projects, create hierarchy sets. You must then declare the hierarchy sets as relevant for analysis by using the 'Set Report Relevancy' app.
The app read the hierarchies from special tables that are optimized for analysis. You must replicate the hierarchies into these tables using the Replicate Runtime Hierarchy app.
