How to display inbound data provided to a transactional RFC?

The scenario is that we have an external vendor invoice scanning/OCR tool which is passing invoice data (I believe) to a remote-enabled RFC within our SAP ECC system to park invoices.

My question is: Where in SAP can you view the data which was passed to the RFC from the external application?

I have searched through endless posts trying to find the answer to this question but so far have not had any luck.

I guess it's deleted after being successfully processed, why would ABAP kernel keep all this amount of data.

Or do you mean tracing the RFC calls? Or debugging the RFC calls?

Hi Sandra,

I guess in the same way iDocs are usually stored (for a period of time) with all the associated data content I was hoping that there would be similar storage of the values provided to the RFC. Otherwise it makes it very difficult to analyse problems etc, especially if you don't have access to the source system to determine which values are being sent.
