How to run ECC TCODE (e.g. FBL1H) from AFC. Our client does not use FIORI

Hi,

If we want to trigger ECC TCODE from AFC, what task-type should be used ?

Basically as part of period close, we want to run ECC TCODE (e.g. FBL1H), in backend, user-logged in and triggers task from AFC. Our client does not use FIORI

Hi Monika,

thanks for reaching out and raising this question.

If you use AFC alongside with SAP ECC, you can use Task Type "Fiori Application" to model tasks, where users should navigate from the "Process Closing Tasks" application in AFC to a transaction code in the communication system.

The required settings are described under this link to the Administration Guide within the SAP Help Portal for AFC.

Make sure that during the definition of the Business Transaction Type you fill out the column "Transaction" like in the attached screenshot.

Hi Monika,

content for Advanced Financial Closing with SAP ECC backend systems is already on the AFC roadmap and as of today planned for Q1/2022.
