Just-In-Time Calls API is deprecated - Workaround to GET data from the external JIT Calls?

Hello Experts,

We have seen that the Just-In-Time Calls API (ODATA V2 API) is deprecated:

We have also seen that there is another API called Manage Just-In-Time Calls (SOAP API) available:

Both APIS share the same communication scenario: SAP_COM_0168

We would like to know if the Manage Just-In-Time Calls (SOAP API) can be used to GET information about the external JIT Calls with the OData V2 application protocol (screenshot).

We have seen with Postman that the OData V2 service is still available. However, we would like to confirm that this service is not going to be deprecated in the future.

We are thinking of using this particular service for one of our customers.

Thank you very much in advance for your time and help.

Best regards,

Jorge.

Hi Jorge,

If it's explicitly mentioned as deprecated, I would not suggest to continue to use it.

I got the information from one colleague that there is no replacement API yet for the deprecated API.

Personally, I would suggest you create an entry in the customer influence portal if it's very important for you.

Best Regards,
Sean
