Message nº AR 164 received when modifying or creating a supplier (business partner) in S4HC

Hi,

we are getting an information message (AR 164): You may not specify a PBC/POR number for country ES

This is the first time we receive this message. Can anyone explain why are we getting it and what consequences it might have?

Hi,

We created an incident related to this message. The answer from SAP:

The check for ISR number was not complete and had issues hence the validations were improved in CE2111.

But the Initial check was missed that when the value for ISR number is empty, do not execute the validations due to which you are getting an information message.

This has been fixed in CE2202 so that you won't get any messages when the value for ISR is not filled in vendor General data.

As I see in the system, you could still go ahead and save the Business Partner by just ignoring the Information messages/pop up, this is not a blocker for Business Continuity.

Once the system would be upgraded to CE2202, this issue shall be fixed.
