Not Able to create MATNR with MARA-MFRNR field as the field is missing in Purchasing View

Hi Experts,

Could you please help me add/view/create a material with MFRNR. Seems the field is disabled for input.

Stepwise explanation would be appreciated.

Hello Laxmi Kanth LK,

As you rightly said, the field MARA-MFRNR is disabled for the material type you'd like to create.

Please follow the below steps to enable:

Go to transaction code OMS9-->enter 124(MARA-MFRNR) in "Field sel. group"-->Position-->enter your 'Material type' as 'field reference'-->select "Opt. entry/ Reqd Entry" as per your preference and save.

Tip: Make sure you press enter after each selection.
