Production orders mail sending

Are there output types for Production orders as there are for Purchase orders.

I want to trigger external mail sending same as for purchase order, set output type, etc.

Could you clarify your question ? Did you check transaction NACE ?

For purchase orders, I can set an output type as external mail and mail will be sent if the purchase order is created or changed. And I could find it in NACE. The application is EF, and I set the output type.

Now, my question is about PP production orders. Is there the same way for purchase orders, to set the output type as external mail, and if a production order is created or updated to send the print?

In NACE, I don't know which entry ( column application ) is relevant for the production order.

When you search for application code with F4, you will found CO for Production Orders, but this code is not available in NACE.

You could try to trigger a simple Workflow based on object BUS2005.
