Please can anyone explains to me how the prerequisite of the release strategy works from programming perspective?
Is it using loop?
Does it start from left to right then bottom to up or the opposite side!
Because based on the number of marked checkboxes the system change the options given in the release strategy indicator tab. The selection in the prerequsite affects the number of the options possible.
Hello Riyad,
As per your question, release strategy does uses a loop as per 'release codes' defined based on the 'release prerequisite' that we set in configuration. Suppose, for bottom-top approach R1/R2/R3 rel. codes, you can decide in 'prerequisite' either R1/R2 can release at same time by 'ticking' only R3 checkbox so that only after R1 & R2 approval, R3 will follow to release the document.
As for the release indicator, based on the prerequisite the system signifies that only after R1 & R2 approvals (till the status remains 'BLOCKED'), document will be released only after R3 approval('RELEASED').
Hope it will help.
Thanks.
