Required space for PSAPTEMP for EHP upgrade

Could you please let me know the space required for PSAPTEMP tablespace for ECC 6.0 EHP7 Upgrade ?

Hi Chiranjeevi,

You should start with sizing tempdb at 20% of DB size or twice the size of largest index which ever is higher.

Our DB size is of 2 TB. So, I should have the space 400 GB for PSAPTEMP ?

hi chiranjeevi,

You can get this requirement during upgradation prereq phase. It will be better if you increase the space as per SUM requirement.

Hi Jamil,

I have been following the same for all my version upgrade projects I did, and will have to check for the SAP Note from my repository. The same is also referred in below link.

This is only runtime requirement and should be reduced to the size required for normal operation.
