S4HC Stock Service Part - Storage Location determination

Dear Experts,

from our tests on Service Stock Items (Item Category Group SVST - Stock Service Part), the storage location from which the material is issued with the 291 movement is the default one for the plant.

This logic is described in the documentation but it looks really restrictive from a real-world business perspective.

In fact, it is quite common to have dedicated storage locations for spares, for example when the technicians manage the stock of their own cars (travelling warehouse).

Can you confirm that there is no way to influence the storage location determination in the service order confirmation process? Do you know if there is anything related to this topic in the roadmap?
