Sap bydesign Fixed Assets Cost Posting Date Error

Hello Folks

We are having issues with Fixed asset management in SAP Bydesign

I am trying to add an assignment interval to be able to add cost center and profilt center parameters

The problem is that the system won't let me chose the appropriate posting date.

I ckeched the related KBA about the error https://userapps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/en/3309785

The latest date here seems to be 19.05.2022 and not 30.11.2022, also the date of 30.11.2022 seems to be common to all the fixed assets regardless of the items in the Values tab.

Any idea how to fix this ?

Hello Maxime,

Can you also share the screenshot from the

1. Go to Fixed Assets Wc > Fixed Assets view
2. Search for the your fixed asset and open it
3. Click on View All
4. Go to Values tab > Journal subtab

if you have any posting here ( not just depreciation but other asset related posting as well) on 30.11.2022 then system would not let you change cost/ profit cetner assignment before this date.

Also check for other set of books and valuation views as well.

I see so I found the date and the journal entries that are blocking us

Is there a way to cancel the depreciation runs or cherry picks the ones that were based on wrongly configured assets at the time and redo them but after we have configured the right cost center/ Profit center for each assets?
Is there any impacts I should be worried about?

The kba suggest to cancel the assets and recreate them but it is not an option for us.
