SAP Product Cost - Service Industry

I searched forum, but couldn't found brief answer about my below query -

I am curious to know how SAP Product Costing is utilized in Service Industry ? Does service industries identify costs of services as it is done for Products.

Please help me in understanding. Thank You.

Hello,

Do you have a material created for Service ? If so, you can either use Project Order/Network or Work Order to collect the cost

Normally, COST CENTER is Linked with WORK CENTER and work center to ACTIVITY which is assigned in PS or Work Order
