Unable to create provider contract in S/4HANA Cloud

we are unable to create provider contract, Only showing display option. Could you please help with Business catalog or role that needs to be assigned.

Hello

Based on the test script for 2AR, I believe you can only create the provider contract via API.

Make sure you have set up the communication SAP_COM_0167. After that, you can create a provider contract via API by sending an http request. For more information about the Communication Scenario SAP_COM_0167, please refer to set up guide of 2AR Contract Accounting - Master Data and Basic Functions.

I would follow the setup guide in 2AR to create communication arrangement SAP_COM_0167 and then modify the sample payload found in the test script document to submit the SOAP/XML from a client tool like SOAPUI or Postman.

Hi Marty,

Thanks for valuable response. We are basically trying to test 5IK scenario. But due to some other technical reasons we are not able to complete for which we are working on to get the integrations completed.

Meanwhile for testing it other wise we were checking the possibility if we send the billing data from Subscription billing and then we invoice it CI but for that we would require Provider Contract. On identifying app of Manage Provider contract it took us to display provider and concluded may be some roles may be missing which caused us to get only Display mode . But from your response it seems that we cannot manually create Provider contract in S/4 HANA Cloud either it should come from S/4 HANA on premise to S/4 cloud via communication arrangement SAP_COM_0167 or it should be replicated as Provider contracts via Subscriptions from Subscription Billing Tenant and there is no other way of having Provider contracts getting available in S4HC

Yes, that's my understanding based on reading the test scripts and setup guides--that some external system needs to create the provider contract.
