S4H with ePP/DS - purchase requisitions are created with nr 000000 in ePP/DS - why?

Hi,

purchase requisitions are created with nr 000000 in ePP/DS and get the real nr first when they arrive in S4H.

what has to be done to have purchase requisitions created by mrp live with real nr? there is one number range created in ePP/DS.

I guess you have not setup an number range in PPDS in /SAPAPO/RRPCUST1.

Use Number Ranges

Use

• If you set the indicator, the system creates an order number for an order that is created locally in SAP APO.

• If you do not set the indicator, the system does not create a visible number for the order. You can process the order in the planning table, but you cannot call it up individually as the individual orders cannot be distinguished from one another due to the lack of the number.

Dependencies

• The system creates the number on the basis of the number range interval that you have specified in the number range number field.

• You define the number range in Customizing for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling under Maintain Number Ranges for Orders.
