Use SAP HR Org Structure Alternative Versions(Not 01 Active Plan Version) for QM Workflow.

Hi Gurus,

For Org structure in SAP HCM, we normally use the plan/active(01) version as our default version to access the Organizational hierarchy and org objects like Org units. We are integrating with Quality Management, they are using QM02 and want to access not the HCM Org Active version 01 but the alternative versions in SAP HR. Any configuration, setting needed so they can leverage the alternative versions created in SAP OM?

Hi, As per HR OM concept, you can make only one plan version as integrated active plan version which will be used for all hcm ess & workflow processes. You can make another version say '02' as active and integrated plan version, then '01' may go non-integrated and not usable for current bp.

If you use workflow in QM, then check that is having any business object ( e-g BUS2078) where you can customize/copy as Z object and write some method to query HR-OM object's required alternate plan version (say '02') for forwarding the QM workflow notification to next approving agent.

I don't think there is any specific setting to switch to alternate plan version for specific business process.
