XSC App Returning Connection - Could not find SBO that match the connection string

When starting XSC App add-on from the SAPB1 client, returning the following:

Connection - Could not find SBO that match the connection string

Current SAPB1 version is 9.3 PL11. Have tried creating the add-on with and without the delivery unit.

Have tried using the compatibility version and not.

Used the following for version:

<Validity>

<SBOCompatibility>

<Version From="930.140.00" To="940.000.00"/>

</SBOCompatibility>

</Validity>

Hi Thomas Arnold

Start SAP B1 Client as run as Administrator,then try to connect your addon.

Hope this will help you.

I deleted the previous add-on folders in program files and ran as administrator and the add-on is no longer returning the connection string error.

Now the menus items are populated properly but not executing.

Hello Thomas,

Are you trying from a browser? If so, how you authenticate to SAP B1?

Have you tried the following format in your browser? https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:4300/sap/sbo/portal/?site=/sap/sbo/yourxapp

If you are running in the embedded SBO Browser, were you able to package as a lightweight addon? I am asking this question because I am able to package xapp BUT there seems to be a long standing issue that prevents to deploy xapp lightweight addons.

Regards.

The XSC app is being called as an add-on from within SAPB1. Although I can call the URL's and execute from a browser or workbench.

I did clean up the add-on folders in program files. The menu items are showing up in SAPB1 but not executing.
