Hi Community-
We have been on RAR since 2016 and we upgraded to RAR 1.3 back in Nov 2018. I am looking for guidance from the community about the best way to test changes that we implement that affect RAR. We have 11 company codes and 2 accounting principles and some customization. When we do testing right now, we need to test across multiple periods of the contract. We have to close RAR periods which ends up corrupting other data in the system.
I'm looking to see how others manage this. Do you use a sandbox or a dedicated environment just for RAR testing ? How do you take care of testing existing data in the system (existing contracts) when we have to open/close periods constantly ?
