Thought this would be a little bit of fun "of a Friday" as we say here in Galway! Not quite technology related - but it is a digital photo after all - and I do know that there are plenty SAP technology enthusiasts out there who are snap happy like myself. Here's one of my favourites - with the low dark clouds hanging over Killary Fjord in Connemara - on one of my recent hikes. What a lovely informal group dynamic we had for our second meet-up! Thank you to those who joined. We chatted about what an SAP Stammtisch is all about, and how it might eventually lead to Ireland's first ever SAP Inside Track, how exciting would that be?! For now though, happy to start small, grow organically, and get even more customers, partners, SAP technology users and enthusiasts on board! The topic SAP S/4HANA was raised, as was SAP BTP. We discussed spreading the word about SAP Stammtisch in Galway and surrounding areas, and how to go about this via contacts in our networks. The off-topic discussions were so much fun, especially the travel tips (from house swaps to camping amongst lions!). McGinns has the best pizza too. What did you enjoy? Our second meetup has arrived!! Our first ever SAP Stammtisch in Galway - even in Ireland - took place in The Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit back in March. We had a small group of people, as can be expected for the "first" of anything! But that was only the start... If you have more than one SAP Community profile then be sure to familiarize yourself with the new process - if you haven't done so already. With the new process, you can now merge the content associated with your community accounts (S/P) into a single account. To start the process you can access it through your SAP Universal ID. Most people working in the technology sector will be off work at the very least on Monday. Whether you celebrate Easter or not is another story. Do you? Or do you celebrate something different? For Irish children these days it's mostly about counting how many Easter eggs they got from their parents or aunts and uncles! The local shops have been full of Easter eggs for weeks but they are getting snapped up fairly quickly now. I must admit I've squirrelled away a few for the smaller members of our extended family!  Easter Sunday is generally family time - in our house anyway. We'll enjoy a nice roast dinner together. What will you do for the extra day off on Monday? Eat chocolate?! I think the weather will be mild so I plan to use the time for a hike or ramble - and take in some stunning scenery while I'm at it.
