KM-11822 Replacement of User Native Learning Sign-In

Native user sign-in will be deprecated and replaced with Identity Authentication Services-based login. Will this affect LMS users with User Source System = Learning?

We already have IAS login authentication enabled for LMS Users with User Source System = SF Platform. For our external users who dont have accounts in AD (User Source System = Learning), Native User Sign in is used.

thanks.

Hello @Jenn_Say

Hope you are doing fine.

Correct. If there are Learning Native users, these will be required to login in LMS via IAS as well. We recommend that a partner is involved in the migration and all the set up in order to avoid issues.

The link below has further details about the LMS and IAS integration for reference.

Hope this helps !

Hi Geison.

Thanks for your reply.

I didnt make myself clear. For the User with Source System = Learning (no AD account), are already migrated to IAS. Currently, they login via Native (https://XXXX.plateau.com/learning/user/nativelogin.do). They click on Sign In which routes them to IAS logon page. With the enhancement, will they need to go directly to IAS to login?

thanks.

Hello Jenn! No, the LMS native URL can still be used by the users. No changes to that.
