Hi,

I have a requirement wherein for New Hires if their credit crosses 250K amount within 1st 3 months from Hire date then we pay only 25%. I am good with this part. But then till 1 year we need not to pay that person anything. So, how to accomplish this?

means how to identify in the following months that it was a new hire and we have paid 25% already.

Yes Payal --- you can create a formula to calcualte the months from hire date to be totaled in the sum measures to date function even if they are different fiscal years and use that in the sum funtion.

Thanks for your response Payal. The logic shared by Sreekanth will work, there maybe additional logic required (he can walk you through it).

Hello Payal, there are many questions that need to be addressed before locking down logic. The above logic will work if what you wrote is the exact requirement. But I would ask the following:
1. Does a newly hired payee not receive a payout for the first year if they make less than %250K in the first 3 months?
2. What happens if a new hire makes 250K 6 months after New Hire?
3. Is there any form of new hire bonus, if so, how does it impact the 25% payout?
4. Are there any goals set during the new hire period?
5. After the year what happens?

1. Does a newly hired payee not receive a payout for the first year if they make less than %250K in the first 3 months?

Yes, they will receive normal payment if they make less than 250K within first 3 months

2. What happens if a new hire makes 250K 6 months after New Hire?

No issues with this.

3. Is there any form of new hire bonus, if so, how does it impact the 25% payout?

Not sure of this.

4. Are there any goals set during the new hire period?

goals are at annual level.

5. After the year what happens?

Get Payment as normal Plan that we already have for others.

create a formula to check if payee is new hire with last 1 year

create a formula to check if the previous sum of incentives to date/sum of mesaure to date for this payee,if you have paid non zero new hire commission

if above two are False then in the incenitve/deposits rule pay the current month commissions

if the above is TRUE then pay the New hire commission in that month in incentive/deposit

these two rules will be mutually exculsive rules

Would this work if we enter in next financial year. Suppose the Person has joined in September. So, this logic should work till next September?

Financial year is Apr - Mar
