Location Associated with multiple Legal Entities replication to Employee Central Payroll..

Can we replicate the location associated with multiple legal entities from employee central to employee central payroll.

If you are referring to replicating Location associated to an Employee in Employee profile, that is possible.

Generally it is replicated to Personnel Sub area in ECP in IT0001 using extensibility of P2P settings.

Use below entry in Employee Central Extensibility Mapping Configuration

job_information, location, 0001, BTRTL, PERSONNEL_SUBAREA

Thank you for your response. Generally, in ECP system we will map combination of Personal area and Personal sub area with a company code. Ex: Personal area 1010 and personal sub area 1000 mapped with company code 1000. And then same Personal Area and Personal Sub area we can't map to another company code. Challenge is in Payroll system while hiring employee we will key in personal area and personal sub area, then based on the mapping (PA and PSA to company code) company code will be assigned to employee.

But now in Employee central ex: location 1010 associated with multiple companies 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003 etc.

If Location mapped to PA and PSA ex: Location 1010 mapped with PA and PSA as 1010 and 1000 then as it linked to company code 1000 in ECP employee belongs 1000 in ECP, but employee can as be assigned to different company also in EC other than 1000 company, as location is associated with multiple companies.

How this will work in this case.
