Mass Import Job Change/ Promotions

Hi - Happy New Year! Is it possible to do a mass job change/ promotion through the compensation tool? I found an MDF blog, but limits the ability to publish back into EC. Current promoter tool functionality seems to limit the job change through the UI.

No and not on the roadmap as far as I know. My blog is still the only alternative.

Publish back limitations still apply too with the exception that since this workaround was created we can now publish to MDF from Comp templates (not available from Total Comp yet). Which means you go the following route > MDF Promo Design > Publish to MDF > Integration Center to sync Effective Dated MDF with Job Info.

Hi Xavier. I have some questions on using MDF design for Promotion.

Since we will be importing the revised grades & designations (as client has already decided on promotions) into a custom object for comp planning, it doesn't make sense to publish back job info using Publish to MDF as we have already loaded revised promotions. In that case, can you tell me how to make promotions reflect in job info? I checked your MDF Promotion Design video however it was trimmed at the publish part. Can you kindly let me know the further steps?
